Digital Media & Outreach Manager
Freelance flexible location - English & Arabic

Location: Flexible/remote. Preference for Damascus; living in Jaramana is an advantage
Contract type: Freelance service contract

Reports to: Project Director in Berlin, in coordination with the Creative Strategy & Communications Lead

coculture e.V. is seeking a freelance Digital Media & Outreach Manager to support the digital outreach and content delivery needs of the Little Syria project. The role focuses on implementing digital communications, supporting outreach efforts, coordinating online content, and ensuring structured follow-up on visibility outputs. This is a deliverable-based contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement digital outreach activities related to the project
  • Prepare, adapt, and publish digital content across relevant channels in coordination with the project team
  • Support outreach for public calls, events, updates, and dissemination moments
  • Coordinate digital publishing workflows with the project team and the Creative Strategy & Communications Lead
  • Maintain organised records of links, posts, captions, and digital evidence for reporting purposes
  • Ensure that digital outputs align with project visibility requirements and approved branding and communications guidelines
  • Support the online dissemination of project outputs where relevant

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in digital communications, online outreach, or social media content management
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage digital publishing processes
  • Experience producing and adapting digital content for different audiences
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English and Arabic
  • Ability to work in a structured and responsive way with remote teams

Preferred

  • Experience in NGO, community, cultural, or civic-sector communications
  • Familiarity with documentation and evidence requirements for donor-funded projects

نبذة عن الوظيفة
تبحث coculture e.V. عن مدير/ة للإعلام الرقمي والتواصل الخارجي بنظام التعاقد الحر، لدعم احتياجات مشروع سوريا الصغرى في مجال الوصول الرقمي وإنتاج ونشر المحتوى. يركّز هذا الدور على تنفيذ الاتصال الرقمي، ودعم الترويج والوصول، وتنسيق المحتوى عبر المنصات الإلكترونية، والمتابعة المنظمة لمخرجات الظهور الإعلامي. هذه الوظيفة قائمة على مخرجات محددة.

المسؤوليات الأساسية

  • التخطيط لأنشطة الوصول الرقمي المرتبطة بالمشروع وتنفيذها
  • إعداد المحتوى الرقمي وتكييفه ونشره عبر القنوات المناسبة، بالتنسيق مع فريق المشروع
  • دعم الترويج للدعوات العامة، والفعاليات، والمستجدات، ومحطات النشر والتعميم
  • تنسيق سير عمل النشر الرقمي مع فريق المشروع ومع قائد/ة الاستراتيجية الإبداعية والاتصال
  • حفظ سجلات منظمة للروابط، والمنشورات، والنصوص المرافقة، والأدلة الرقمية لأغراض التوثيق والتقارير
  • المساعدة في ضمان أن المخرجات الرقمية تتوافق مع متطلبات الظهور الخاصة بالمشروع، ومع الإرشادات المعتمدة للهوية والاتصال
  • دعم النشر الإلكتروني لمخرجات المشروع عند الحاجة

المؤهلات المطلوبة

  • خبرة مثبتة في الإعلام الرقمي، أو الوصول الإلكتروني، أو إدارة محتوى وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي
  • مهارات تنظيمية قوية، والقدرة على إدارة عمليات النشر الرقمي بشكل منهجي
  • خبرة في إنتاج المحتوى الرقمي وتكييفه لشرائح مختلفة من الجمهور
  • مهارات ممتازة في الكتابة والتحرير باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية
  • القدرة على العمل بطريقة منظمة وسريعة الاستجابة ضمن فرق تعمل عن بُعد

يُفضّل

  • خبرة في التواصل المرتبط بالمنظمات غير الحكومية، أو العمل المجتمعي، أو القطاع الثقافي، أو المبادرات المدنية
  • معرفة بمتطلبات التوثيق وحفظ الأدلة الخاصة بالمشاريع المموّلة من الجهات المانحة
Finance Administration Manager
Part-time employment Berlin remote - English

Location: Berlin, Germany
Contract type: Part-time employment
Monthly project contribution: Monthly total employer cost: up to €1,320 for a 30% FTE position. This amount represents coculture e.V.’s total monthly employment cost (Arbeitgeberbrutto), including the employee’s gross salary and statutory employer contributions. It is not the employee’s gross or net take-home salary. The contractual gross salary will be calculated by the payroll office and stated in the employment contract.

coculture e.V. is seeking a part-time Finance and Administrative Managerto support the implementation of its financial work and the Little Syriaproject. The role is responsible for financial management, allowability andeligibility checks, financial documentation, budget follow-up, and support inpreparing interim and final financial reports in line with donor requirements.This is a Berlin-based position within the project’s strategic managementstructure.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the project’s financial administration on the coculture side, which indlude:

  • Manage the financial administration of the Little Syriaproject on behalf of coculture.
  • Review expenditure for eligibility, documentation, budgetcompliance, and donor compliance.
  • Review financial reports and supporting documents submittedby the local implementation partner.
  • Maintain complete, organized, and audit-ready financialrecords.
  • Monitor expenditure, commitments, cash flow, and remainingproject balances.
  • Prepare payment documentation and support paymentreconciliation in accordance with coculture’s internal controls and four-eyesprinciple.
  • Support the preparation of interim and final financialreports.
  • Maintain bookkeeping records through DATEV Unternehmenonline in coordination with coculture’s tax adviser.
  • Coordinate with the payroll office and tax adviser regardingpayroll documents, accounting records, and financial deadlines.
  • Support financial follow-up relating to transfers made tothe local partner.
  • Respond to audit, verification, and donor-clarificationrequests.
  • Support organizational administration related to contracts,payroll documentation, personnel records, financial filing, insurance records,and statutory deadlines.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in NGO or donor-funded financial management
  • Proven experience in financial administration, accounting, or financialmanagement.
  • Experience in an NGO, nonprofit organisation or donor-funded project.
  • Strong understanding of budget control, cost eligibility, supportingdocumentation, and audit requirements.
  • Practical experience with DATEV Unternehmen online.
  • Strong Excel and financial-tracking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational ability.
  • Very good written and spoken English.
  • Working proficiency in German is sufficient to handle financial documentsand communicate with the payroll office and tax adviser.
  • Legal authorisation to work in Germany.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with GIZ, EU, UN, or foundation-funded projects.
  • Experience reviewing partner financial reports and supporting documents.
  • Familiarity with German nonprofit associations, e.V. accounting, orGemeinnützigkeit.
  • Arabic-language skills.
